—- SALINE CONTRAST SONOHYSTEROGRAPHY —-
It is a intervaginal gynecological ultrasound diagnostic tool, which is in 2D/3D images after infusion of normal saline in the uterus through the cervix.
This test is usually performed in the first half of the woman’s cycle and allows to check the anatomy in the internal space of the uterus. In other words, we test precisely the anatomy of the endometrium.
The big advantage of this method is the exceptional appearance of the endometrium in detail and is considered as a test choice in cases of pathology of endometrium, such as polyps and endometrial diafragma and can easily replace diagnostic hysteroscopic endometrial cavity.
Duration of the test is 10 minutes.
